Triangle TIKKUN reaches out and builds respectful alliances with other groups—both religious and secular—in its effort to reach a just peace in the Middle East and to create a more caring world. To foster understanding and connections in the community, we work to: |
|
∆ Promote dialogue and understanding between Muslims, Christians, Jews, and others of goodwill through dinners, potlucks,
communologues, panel discussions, speakers, and meetings.
∆ Work with other groups to create synergy and help promote a similar message in the Triangle area.
∆ Join with other organizations to produce and place paid advertisement supporting the progressive middle path for peace.
∆ Sponsor film, book, and article discussions on topics pertinent to Triangle Tikkun’s activist and spiritual mission.
|
∆ Develop relationships with Triangle area representatives in Congress to promote peaceful alternatives for Israel and Palestine. Tikkun numbers have joined with like-minded individuals and groups to meet with Congress members and staff to educate them on the promise and importance of the progressive middle math to peace in Israel/Palestine.
∆ Offer speakers to explain the Tikkun progressive middle path to Middle East peace to other groups in the Triangle and elsewhere in North Carolina.
